Celebrating 100
Years of Quality Education & Training
Our Limavady Campus
is situated along the Main Street in Limavady (get here) and celebrates the culmination of
100 Years quality education and training this year. The main feature at the
Campus is the fantastic Benevenagh Building, a state-of-the-art building which
was officially opened in 2004, and was designed and equipped with the latest
learning technology and resources. This campus building encompasses the Hair
& Beauty Academy, Sports & Fitness Testing Laboratory, Early Years
Suite, Health Science Laboratory and the IT/Media suites, and the facilities
ensure students have access to training of the highest standard, providing
every opportunity for student achievement. In 2006, a further building project
was completed to enhance and add to the West Wing - the College's already
extensive Art & Design workshops and studios.
Over the years,
hundreds of our full-time and part-time students have successfully progressed
from the College onto numerous higher education programmes at local and UK
universities, while many more have enjoyed a smooth transition into employment,
enabling the local and regional areas to grow and prosper The campus makes a
significant contribution to the local economy both as an employer and a
provider of education and training, and prides itself on the friendly and
supportive approach it takes to its provision of learning and career
opportunities for people from the local community and further afield.

100 Years…
The Limavady Campus of North West Regional College has been providing 100 years of quality education and training in the Co Londonderry town.
From its initial inception as Limavady Technical School in Irish Green Street, to Limavady College of Further & Higher Education, and then as one of the three main campuses in the merged North West Regional College in 2007, the College has provided the local community, and learners from further afield, with opportunities to improve their qualifications and skills.
To mark this significant milestone, we have produced a commemorative film to reflect those times gone by, and reflect the achievements and developments of the College throughout the years.
